About the position

Actalent is seeking EIT Civil Engineers for a growing civil engineering firm in the SLC/Provo areas of Utah. The role involves designing municipal water projects, including potable water provision, wastewater disposal, and flood prevention. The engineer will also prepare environmental documentation and ensure regulatory compliance while engaging in fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal water projects including potable water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare environmental documentation for water resources and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct data management and analysis related to water treatment and distribution.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and pipeline design for water and wastewater systems.
• Engage in fieldwork to support project development and implementation.

Requirements

• EIT certification and/or PE license.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in municipal water design or treatment, including culinary or sewer water treatment.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in hydraulic modeling and pipeline design.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing domestic or industrial water or wastewater treatment plants.
• Familiarity with advanced facilities such as sequencing batch reactors (SBR) and ultraviolet disinfection systems.
