The Civil Engineer will be responsible for various design tasks, calculations, and project management under the supervision of a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project
• Make calculations using engineering formulas and skills
• Use catalogs to specify items where original design is not required
• Instruct drafters on how to reduce designs into completed drawings
• Perform research and write opinions
• Use computer programs to solve engineering problems
• Perform other work as assigned
• Work safely and abide by the firm's policies and procedures
• Design portions of a project without immediate oversight
• Responsible for task budgets under the supervision of a Project Manager

Requirements

• Must have a degree in engineering
• 0-5 years of related experience or a master's degree with no experience
• Have passed the EIT Exam
• US Person - Eligible to work at aerospace and defense companies with export restrictions
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
