About the position

The Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for managing major projects or several complex projects across multiple sites in the Greater Denver area. This role involves developing procedures, codes, and standards for complex engineering problems, as well as supporting the creation of technical documentation. The engineer will also engage in design, equipment specification, installation, start-up, commissioning, and evaluation of project progress, while participating in bid processes and overall project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage major projects or several complex projects across 5 different sites.
• Develop procedures, codes, and standards for complex engineering problems.
• Support the development of technical documentation for engineering projects.
• Engage in design, equipment specification, and selection.
• Oversee installation, start-up, commissioning, and evaluation of work progress.
• Participate in bid and evaluation processes, including preparation of bid documents.
• Complete technical evaluations for proposals and review recommendations for selection.
• Coordinate budgeting, estimating, forecasting, accounting, and work order management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Strong design experience and prior field experience.
• Utility/Power industry experience.
• Strong experience with Project Wise.
