About the position

We are a multi-disciplined engineering firm located in Waterford, Michigan, seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in land development projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including stormwater management, utility design, and construction administration. As a Civil Engineer, you will collaborate with other staff members and clients to ensure the successful execution of projects from conception through completion. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications. You will also conduct site visits during the construction phase to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. Your expertise in AutoCAD and Civil3D will be essential as you work on detailed designs and plans. Additionally, you will be involved in the review of plats and development plans, contributing to new client development efforts. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of design experience on land development projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
  • Experience with utility design and stormwater design.
