The town of Southborough is seeking qualified applicants for the newly created position of Civil Engineer. This is a non-union, full-time role that will provide essential support to the Department of Public Works (DPW) and will report directly to the Superintendent of Public Works. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks that are critical to the town's infrastructure and development initiatives. The Civil Engineer will engage in a range of primary duties including civil engineering, surveying, construction inspection, plan review, coordinating permits, design, cost estimating, preparation of bid documents, and project management.
