A Civil Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Denver, CO area. This role involves leading the design, development, testing, and integration of complex engineering projects while serving as a technical expert and project leader, ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and strategic innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, develop, and test machines, structures, or systems.
• Develop functional requirements and standard engineering principles.
• Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs.
• Serve as the technical project engineer or subject matter expert for assigned areas (e.g., facility, equipment, or product).
• Manage major or several complex projects with moderate to large scopes.
• Provide technical leadership on self-initiated, strategic assignments.
• Lead design, equipment specification, selection, installation, start-up, and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency).
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
