About the position

Kimley-Horn is seeking motivated Engineering graduates to join our Bentonville, Arkansas office in 2025. This position is not remote and offers a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on civil engineering projects. As a Civil Engineering Analyst, you will utilize various technical software programs to analyze, produce, and ensure quality control of deliverables for our clients. You will play a crucial role in the pre-construction civil engineering design process, which includes planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects of varying sizes and scopes. In this role, you will be expected to solve complex engineering problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across different disciplines to bring our clients' visions for the built environment to life. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our clients' practices, procedures, and standards, will be essential. Analysts will have the opportunity to learn and become proficient in one or more software programs specific to their disciplines, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS. Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
  • Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.

Requirements

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2025 in one of the following majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology.
