About the position

Kimley-Horn is seeking experienced engineering graduates to join their West Palm Beach office as Civil Engineering Analysts. This role focuses on supporting land development teams through technical analysis, design, and project management. Analysts will engage in various civil engineering tasks, including pre-construction design, permitting, and compliance with regulations, while utilizing advanced software tools to deliver high-quality results for clients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems and assist project managers in project execution.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client practices.

Requirements

• An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 1 year of experience at a civil consulting firm.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.
