About the position

Front Range Staffing is seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Drafter with 1-4 years of experience in Utilities, Wastewater, and Roadways. This role involves preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, focusing on grading, erosion control, drainage, and utility plans. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and offers a pay range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create, modify, and update detailed CAD drawings and plans for various civil engineering projects.
• Interpret and apply engineering standards, guidelines, and specifications to drafting work.
• Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Maintain organized records of project drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
• Review and verify the accuracy of drawings before submission for approval.
• Assist in preparing project documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years' experience in creating grading, erosion control, drainage, and utility plans.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• E.I.T. Certification preferred.
