About the position

The Project Engineer will work collaboratively with civil engineers, land planners, landscape architects, and CAD designers to design various land development projects. This role involves civil design for residential, commercial, and municipal projects, as well as managing construction permitting and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with civil engineers, land planners, landscape architects, and CAD designers on land development projects.
• Perform civil design for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
• Manage construction permitting for soil erosion/sedimentation control, NPDES stormwater discharge, sanitary sewer, watermain, MDEQ wetland/floodplain, and MDOT commercial driveway.
• Draft using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Participate in site visits, agency meetings, and municipal meetings as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in private land development civil engineering design.
• Professional Engineer Licensure or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
