About the position

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be responsible for planning and executing projects across various sectors including private, public, and energy. The role involves close collaboration with Principals, managing and mentoring staff, and engaging with clients to develop new business opportunities. You will also coordinate with other practices to meet project-specific needs and represent the company in industry meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute civil engineering projects within private, public, and energy sectors.
• Communicate effectively with clients and develop new client opportunities.
• Coordinate with environmental, ecological, and surveying practices to address project-specific needs.
• Manage and mentor staff to enhance their professional development.
• Attend industry organization and client meetings to represent the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.).
• Ability and desire to mentor staff.
• Capability to provide technical reviews of Civil Engineering deliverables.
• Experience in preparing proposals and managing project execution.
• Strong client interfacing skills and ability to develop business.
