Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver civil engineering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Train and mentor junior staff, managing their workload and performance.
• Assist in marketing the firm's capabilities to establish new client relationships.
• Execute project contracts and develop internal staff to enhance operational excellence.
• Maintain liaison with clients and related organizations to drive project profitability and growth.
• Provide technical assistance in resolving design problems and conducting field investigations.
• Review project changes and manage staffing requirements based on project needs.
• Lead project meetings and prepare contract proposals and change orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
• Ten or more years of engineering or related land development experience, including five years managing complex land development projects.
• Minimum of four years of Texas work experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater systems and related operations.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD or Civil3D.
