About the position

APA Solar is looking for a Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technician with a Geotechnical background to provide engineering support for foundation and soil reporting. The role involves supervising foundation testing, developing testing methods, and preparing technical reports while collaborating with various teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Support/supervise foundation testing field services
• Create/develop testing methods and review quality and inspection processes for foundation testing
• Complete foundation testing maps and analyze reporting results
• Prepare calculation packages, technical reports, and letters
• Participate in conceptual foundation design meetings with engineering staff
• Interface with sales, construction, engineering teams, and customers for technical support

Requirements

• Geotechnical/Construction foundation experience
• BS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or an Associate's degree in an engineering-related field with equivalent experience
• Project Management experience
