About the position

Trihydro Corporation is seeking multiple senior civil engineers to join our team in Fort Collins, CO, Laramie, WY, and New Braunfels, TX. These positions are part of our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit, where we support clients across various industries by delivering effective, responsive, and safe solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing project solutions and addressing infrastructure needs for water authorities, municipalities, and private clients. Your responsibilities will include mentoring project team members, managing projects, and coordinating with clients to ensure successful project delivery. You will perform and review design calculations, supervise figure preparation, and prepare plan sets and design modeling. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing technical memorandums and reports, reviewing project specifications, developing cost estimates, preparing permit applications, and supporting business development activities for a variety of infrastructure-related projects. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in designing civil infrastructure and water and/or wastewater systems, stormwater drainage, rural and urban roads, and site development projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teamwork and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables, as well as strong technical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage time effectively and maintain existing client relationships while developing new ones. Responsibilities

  • Mentor project team members and manage projects.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure project success.
  • Perform and review design calculations.
  • Supervise figure preparation and prepare plan sets.
  • Conduct design modeling and prepare technical memorandums and reports.
  • Prepare and review project specifications and develop cost estimates.
  • Prepare permit applications and support business development activities for infrastructure-related projects.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant engineering design experience in civil infrastructure and water/wastewater systems, stormwater drainage, rural and urban roads, and site development projects.
  • Licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in one of the listed states or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with project team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and understanding of time management.
  • Interest in traveling to client locations and other Trihydro offices nationwide.
  • Ability to maintain existing client relationships and develop new client relationships.

Nice-to-haves
