About the position

This client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their dynamic team of professionals in one of their multiple locations. This position provides an opportunity for an established civil/environmental engineer to join their team of engineering and environmental scientists to provide a comprehensive range of services to their clients in civil and environmental engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting. The role involves performing project work under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, where the engineer will provide engineering solutions in site design, water, wastewater, stormwater, and environmental facilities to both public and private clients. Additionally, the position includes performing construction oversight and field documentation, coordinating design efforts with various other professional disciplines including geotechnical, surveying, hydrogeological, and environmental, and supporting business development efforts in conjunction with the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Perform project work under supervision of Senior Engineer.
• Provide engineering solutions in site design, water, wastewater, stormwater, and environmental facilities to public and private clients.
• Perform construction oversight and field documentation.
• Coordinate design efforts with various other professional disciplines including geotechnical, surveying, hydrogeological, and environmental.
• Support business development efforts in conjunction with our sales team.

Requirements

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
• 2+ years civil site, environmental, and/or infrastructure design experience (water, wastewater, drainage, roads)
• Construction management experience and knowledge of surveying principles are a plus
• EIT or PE
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Word and Excel experience required
• AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
