About the position

The Civil/Environmental Engineering Intern position is designed for students pursuing a degree in engineering, providing them with hands-on experience in environmental projects. The intern will support engineering tasks, assist in project management, and engage in fieldwork, contributing to the development of environmental plans and documentation. This role emphasizes collaboration with experienced professionals and offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support including design, CAD drafting, and GIS processing.
• Assist in the development of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management plans.
• Conduct fieldwork on various sites.
• Prepare project documentation and attend meetings as required.
• Assist Project Managers in managing and implementing environmental projects.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of college education in an engineering field.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong detail orientation and ability to organize and prioritize diverse assignments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office software.
