About the position

The Civil/Environmental Engineering Intern position is designed for students pursuing a degree in engineering, providing hands-on experience in environmental projects. Interns will support engineering tasks, including design, documentation, and fieldwork, while collaborating with experienced professionals in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support including design, CAD drafting, and GIS processing.
• Assist in the development of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management plans.
• Conduct fieldwork on various sites.
• Prepare project documentation and attend meetings as required.
• Assist Project Managers in managing and implementing environmental projects.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of college education in an engineering field.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong detail orientation and ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office software.
