Bolton & Menk is seeking a Graduate Engineer - Environmental to join our team, recognized as a Star Tribune Top 200 Workplace in Minnesota and a Des Moines Top Workplace in Iowa. In this position, you will assist Project Engineers with various design and construction phase activities related to water treatment and wastewater treatment facility projects. Your responsibilities will include performing basic design computations, preparing preliminary layouts and designs, conducting research, and drafting preliminary reports and feasibility studies. You will also assist in the preparation of project plans and specifications, including cost and quantity take-off estimates. Additionally, you will engage in construction observation activities, which may involve construction staking, documenting activities, measuring and testing, providing general oversight, and interacting with contractors, subcontractors, residents, and City staff. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college, with a focus on water and/or wastewater treatment. You should also be a Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or be able to obtain this certification within 12 months of hire. Experience with water or wastewater treatment is essential, along with a working knowledge of CAD and design software such as AutoCAD Civil3D or Microstation. Frequent travel during the construction season is required, and a valid Driver's License or access to public transportation is necessary as you will be traveling to various facilities and job sites.

Requirements
