As a Highway Engineer, you will be responsible for designing roadway geometric alignments, developing 3D surfaces for creating profiles, cross sections, and earthwork volumes, and producing construction plans and specifications. You will also guide and develop lower-level engineers on the team, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation is essential, as you will be involved in designing and drafting using these tools. Additionally, you will be tasked with estimating quantities and costs associated with projects, which requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to completing projects on time.
