About the position

The Civil/Industrial Engineer position involves supporting defense analytical requirements through scientific and engineering research, capability analysis, and facility assessments. The role encompasses various engineering disciplines, including civil, environmental, structural, and transportation engineering, among others. The engineer will manage facility baseline drawings, create strategic planning diagrams, and maintain accountability spreadsheets, while integrating analytic results with related efforts to produce assessments and findings.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the facility key control program using the Keeper Key control system software.
  • Maintain and manage the vinyl plotter.
  • Maintain and manage facility IN/OUT Processing accountability sheets.
  • Maintain and administer the Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) network remedy ticket system software for USCENTCOM J2 facilities.
  • Ensure that all facilities maintenance team members fulfill all contractor actions required to obtain SIPR remedy ticket account access.
  • Provide user interface training for the remedy ticket system as required.
  • Collaboratively integrate analytic results with other related analytic efforts, assessments, and production to prepare related HDBT products, findings, and assessments.
  • Determine notional HDBT structural layouts/floorplans based on engineering parameters obtained from constrained multi-INT sources in support of basic, intermediate, and advanced target development for both lethal/non-lethal HDBT engagements.
  • Assemble tactical level HDBT Facility Characterizations, Physical Vulnerability Assessments, and Joint Target Intelligence Materials utilizing advanced computer algorithms contained within the IMEA application.
  • Provide recommended input to DoD and CJCS Manuals/Instructions, USCENTCOM policies/SOPs, and standards for HDBT production relating to structural engineering and weaponeering standards as required.
  • Coordinate with external IC agencies, Targeting Enterprise production centers, and customers to ensure product delivery of HDBT products and assessments within established timelines.
  • Lead HDBT Research and Development special projects including HDBT reverse engineering initiatives and coordination with the Army Corp of Engineers.
  • Conduct QC of anomaly HDBT target related intelligence production to include asymmetric model characterizations and weaponeering solutions produced by other analysts.
  • Develop and present HDBT Training materials; conduct on-the-job personnel training relating to advanced weaponeering and structural parameters to industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Building Construction
  • Graduated from the Underground Facilities School House
  • Advanced experience with Integrated Munitions Effects Assessment (IMEA), Underground Targeting Analysis System (UTAS), and/or Targeting Weaponeering Assistance Cell (TWAC) experience.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance and the willingness to take a polygraph if needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in facility vulnerability assessments
  • Knowledge of defense analytical requirements
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio.
