About the position

Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) is seeking a Civil Land Development Engineer to join our land development team in the Lehigh Valley office. In this role, the Civil Land Development Engineer will be involved in various project types, including commercial and industrial land developments, institutional land developments such as schools, and residential subdivisions. The engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to complete essential tasks for specific projects. These tasks include storm water management design, site design, site utility design, land development plan preparation, and obtaining necessary permits from PennDOT and DEP. The engineer will also be responsible for preparing erosion and sediment control plans, site grading, project proposals, contracts, and reports, as well as attending municipal and client meetings to ensure effective client and project management. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well with others are essential, as our employees often juggle multiple projects involving various team members. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Fundamentals of Engineering/E.I.T. certification required; PE Preferred

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to travel to other offices for training
