About the position
We are seeking Civil Litigation Attorneys with 4-18 years of civil litigation experience, particularly in California. This role involves representing national and international clients, drafting legal documents, and participating in civil trials. The position offers flexibility to work remotely, in-office, or in a hybrid model, and provides a pathway to partnership within the firm.
Responsibilities
- Handle cases from inception through trial with strong office support
- Work on challenging and high-profile lawsuits
- Create intelligent and creative defenses in complex catastrophic injury cases
- Litigate cases against some of the best plaintiff attorneys in Southern California
- Draft legal documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft motions for summary judgment
- Participate as second chair in all aspects of civil trials
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of California civil litigation experience
- Previous experience in law with interest in Civil Litigation
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask and complete tasks within court deadlines and internal deadlines
