Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various SEH disciplines to solve challenges and provide solutions.
  • Implement quality control measures and certify designs.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders while managing project budgets.
  • Play a significant role in overall project delivery.
  • Work on projects for both public and private clients.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct multiple projects for various clients.
  • Manage SEH design and construction phase services on multiple projects.
  • Maintain close relationships with clients throughout and after project development.
  • Stay updated on regulatory programs, funding opportunities, design standards, and procedures through continuing education and professional associations.
  • Represent SEH at project and public meetings with agencies.
  • Prepare project approaches, scopes, and fees.
  • Present proposals to clients, interview for projects, and select project teams.
  • Make major project design decisions in conjunction with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
  • Familiarity with municipal engineering practices and standards.
  • Project management certification (PMP or similar).
