About the position

The Civil Project Engineer II - Renewable Energy Structural Design position at Timmons Group involves performing complex design tasks related to steel and concrete structures, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.
• Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs.
• Assist with the development of scope, schedule, and budgets for projects.
• Assist with the management of projects and tasks.
• Assist with marketing and proposal development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience required.
• PE License is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development.
• Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans.
