Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Structures & Bridge Design Group located in our Richmond, VA office. This position is integral to our Infrastructure Engineering division, where the successful candidate will engage in a variety of projects that involve the design and rehabilitation of bridges and other structures. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills, as the engineer will be responsible for both the design aspects and the oversight of project execution. The Civil Project Engineer III will perform routine and complex designs for bridges, buildings, renewable energy structures, and ancillary structures. This includes conducting thorough bridge load ratings and developing rehabilitation designs for existing structures. The candidate will also assist in the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints. Additionally, the engineer will play a key role in marketing efforts and proposal development, contributing to the growth and visibility of the Structures & Bridge Design Group.
