About the position

Bolton & Menk is seeking a Professional Engineer to join their Site Design and Landscape Architect team as a Project Engineer in Plymouth, MN. This role focuses on collaboration in project design for various site development projects, particularly in sports and athletics. The Project Engineer will oversee the planning, development, and completion of projects while ensuring client satisfaction and engaging in business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, development, and completion of site development projects.
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations.
• Manage projects from inception through construction.
• Engage in business development activities in designated areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including construction observation.
• Experience in plan and specification development.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to develop grading plans.
• Experience with storm water management tools (HydroCAD, P8, MIDS).
• Knowledge of erosion and sediment control.
• Ability to design storm sewer pipes.
• Experience with client contact and public presentations.
