About the position

As a Civil Project Engineer at Olsson, you will play a pivotal role in our multidisciplinary design services, which encompass a wide range of projects including mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development, as well as municipal, industrial, sports, and educational site developments. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as the project manager for small to medium-sized projects and acting as the lead design engineer on larger initiatives. You will be tasked with preparing comprehensive planning and design documents, conducting design calculations, and ensuring that all project specifications are met. Collaboration is key in this role; you will coordinate with various Olsson teams, including professional and technical staff, as well as clients to ensure that project goals are achieved efficiently and effectively. Your role may also require you to travel to job sites for observation and to attend client meetings, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with the communities we serve. This position is available in our Denver, CO, Loveland, CO, Colorado Springs, CO, Phoenix, AZ, or Chandler, AZ office locations, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering.
  • 6 or more years of related civil engineering experience.
  • Proficient in Civil 3D software.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
