About the position

As a Civil Project Engineer at Olsson, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and design of various land development projects, including mixed-use, commercial, and residential developments, as well as municipal, industrial, sports, and educational site developments. Your responsibilities will encompass serving as the project manager for small to medium-sized projects and acting as the lead design engineer on larger initiatives. You will be tasked with preparing comprehensive planning and design documents, conducting design calculations, and ensuring that all project specifications are met. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will coordinate with other teams within Olsson, including professional and technical staff, as well as clients to ensure project success. In addition to your design responsibilities, you may be required to travel to job sites for observation and to attend client meetings, which will provide you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders and ensure that project goals are aligned with client expectations. This position is available in several locations, including Denver, Loveland, Colorado Springs, Phoenix, and Chandler, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6 or more years of related civil engineering experience.
  • Proficient in Civil 3D software.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
