About the position

The Project Engineer will manage various aspects of civil site design, including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway, utilities, and sediment and erosion control. This role involves client and consultant interaction, assisting with permit processing, and taking on project management responsibilities, with a hybrid work environment requiring both on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil site design aspects including site layout, land grading, and stormwater management.
• Interact with clients and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
• Assist with permit processing and submittals to local and state agencies.
• Visit client sites as needed to oversee project progress and management.
• Demonstrate project management skills throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience designing with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of Montgomery, PG, and Frederick county permits.
