As a Civil Project Engineer at Core Design, you will be part of a dedicated team that has been providing exceptional services in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Surveying, and Construction Management for nearly seventy years. Our firm specializes in commercial, residential, and public land development projects, and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions tailored to the unique needs of our clients across Washington State and surrounding areas. You will play a crucial role in guiding junior engineers and civil technicians, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Your expertise will be vital in conducting complex hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, developing preliminary and final engineering strategies, and ensuring compliance with ADA standards. In this position, you will be responsible for advising and coordinating the preparation of engineering plans and reports for various project submittal packages. You will work closely with project managers to ensure that engineering production activities are aligned with project goals and timelines. Your role will also involve providing civil design direction to civil technicians, including direct support in Civil 3D design. You will be expected to deliver accurate cost estimates and project timelines, as well as conduct hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for projects, guiding junior staff in the preparation of drainage reports while adhering to jurisdictional engineering requirements.
