About the position

Our client, a multidisciplinary Land Development firm located in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a Civil Project Engineer. This role is crucial due to the departure of a previous project engineer and the need to keep current projects on track. The selected candidate will work on large-scale, exciting projects including mixed-use developments with numerous design opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with civil engineers, land planners, landscape architects, surveyors, and security professionals to provide comprehensive services.
• Engage in the design and development of mixed-use projects.
• Conduct site planning and infrastructure design.
• Manage stormwater systems and produce survey reports.
• Utilize Civil 3D or Carlson software for project design and implementation.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or Carlson (Civil 3D preferred).
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in land development, site planning, and infrastructure design.
• EIT certification or PE license is a plus.
• Broad range of experience is preferred to handle diverse project types.
