About the position

The Civil Project Engineer will be part of the Land Development Group in Holland, MI, focusing on local civil engineering projects. This role involves supporting project managers in civil site design, planning, and construction permitting, contributing to various projects including infrastructure, commercial, private, industrial, and municipal developments. The engineer will provide technical support, engage in civil design, and assist in project management activities.

Responsibilities

• Civil site design including site grading, storm water drainage, sewer, roadway design, utility sizing
• Support for construction permitting
• Communicate with clients and local agencies
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering team members
• Assist with project schedule and budget

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT/FE working toward PE license or Licensed PE
• 2+ years of experience in civil design for land development/site development
• 1+ years of experience using Civil 3D for civil projects

Nice-to-haves

• PE License
• Masters in Civil Engineering
• Experience with projects for municipalities and local agencies
