About the position

Civilworx, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer with 5 to 10 years of design experience in street, utilities, and grading design. The role involves managing and executing smaller projects while assisting in the design and management of larger municipal, public works, and land development projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Civil3D and ready to contribute to the Fort Collins or Cheyenne office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute smaller civil engineering projects.
• Assist in the design and management of larger municipal and public works projects.
• Prepare civil construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Conduct drainage calculations and technical report writing.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of design experience in civil engineering, specifically in street, utilities, and grading design.
• Proficient in civil construction plan production using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed PE in Colorado and/or Wyoming, or the ability to obtain a license within 6-8 months of hire.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
