We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in land development. This position is ideal for candidates with 3-8 years of experience who are looking to advance their careers in a multi-discipline professional services firm. Our firm offers a broad array of technical services, including civil engineering, structural engineering, land surveying, construction-related services, land planning, and project management. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple tasks and ensuring project deliverables are met on schedule. You will be responsible for writing technical reports related to stormwater management, site development, and sewer design, which are essential for the successful completion of projects. In this role, you will engage in various design functions, including stormwater design, grading plans, and sewer and water plans. You will also be involved in stormwater conveyance and detention calculations, utilizing your expertise in relevant software programs. Familiarity with local codes for Western Washington and surrounding municipalities is essential, as you will need to ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements. Your experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and demonstrated knowledge of stormwater management tools such as Storm Shed, WWHM, and the Western Washington Stormwater Manual will be critical to your success in this position.
