About the position

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating and managing criteria to carry out a sequence of engineering tasks.
• Work on teams to develop, plan, coordinate, and perform multiple projects.
• Assist project managers and other team members with being on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Serve as a liaison between the surveying team, clients, contractors, and permitting agencies.
• Make construction site visits when necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of final construction bid documents and monthly billing for work completed.
• Develop professional knowledge and abilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• EIT (engineer in training) certification OR in the process of preparing for the FE exam (preferred).
• Internships that included engineering design work and related tasks (preferred).
• Proficiency in engineering design software (Civil 3D is preferred).
• Proven skill in learning design software.
• Ability to learn to work with clients to define and document requirements, address technical concerns, and provide project status.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
