Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design and project management services for civil engineering projects focused on water, wastewater/sewer, storm water, and other infrastructure services.
• Participate in all phases of project development, design, and construction.
• Analyze engineering data, interpret, and prepare plans and specifications, making sound decisions to solve challenges.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and public agencies for reports, design, and construction phase services for various clients.
• Coordinate and support multi-disciplinary projects throughout the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in the State of Utah, with the ability to become licensed in Nevada and Arizona within six months.
• 6+ years of qualified experience as a P.E., with 2+ years working in the Washington County, Utah area.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Willingness to build a practice and mentor junior staff.
• Proven technical background and skillset in civil engineering.
• Multi-discipline civil engineering background with experience in the entire project development cycle.
• Understanding of local municipal codes and design/development standards.
• Water resources engineering experience, including pressure and open channel flow modeling, design, and construction oversight is a plus.
