About the position

The Project Manager is responsible for project management, leadership, profitability, and client management for the project design team. This role involves overseeing project budgets, staff supervision, scheduling, and ensuring successful completion of civil engineering projects within established deadlines and budgets. The Project Manager will collaborate with office staff and senior management while utilizing Autocad for design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Project management and leadership for the design team.
• Financial performance monitoring and management.
• Preparation of technical proposals and invoices.
• Monitoring project budgets and schedules.
• Staff supervision and mentoring.
• Client management and communication.
• Quality control and regulatory agency permitting.
• Proposal scope and budget preparation.
• Managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Other project duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of Land Development Design experience, both residential and commercial.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations (PA).
• Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, and hydrological analyses.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D and ICPR software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Construction oversight experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
