About the position

The Civil/Structural Construction Specialist IV at Worley is responsible for providing construction site expertise during the construction phases of projects. This role involves interpreting designs, adjusting them to meet site conditions, overseeing construction supervision, and providing final approval of completed construction tasks to ensure compliance with design specifications. The specialist will develop and maintain construction practices, control and coordinate construction activities, and ensure projects are delivered to client satisfaction while adhering to safety, quality, time, and budget parameters.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction site expertise during construction phases of projects.
• Interpret designs and adjust them to meet site conditions.
• Oversee construction supervision and provide final approval of completed construction tasks.
• Develop and maintain construction practices for the project.
• Control and coordinate construction activities to ensure project delivery meets client satisfaction.
• Make independent decisions and recommendations for large independent projects.
• Work with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and provide technical guidance.
• Assign project work involving several projects and set policy framework for project work.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience.
• Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience for those with a degree or 12+ years for those with trade qualifications.
• Advanced understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to the field.
