CFW Associated Engineers, Inc., is expanding our engineering team and seeks candidates for a mid- to senior-level Civil / Structural Engineer position. CFW is an employee-owned consulting firm of civil, chemical, electrical, mechanical, process, and structural engineers. Staffed with experienced engineers, designers, and drafters, CFW specializes in the design and construction of new industrial processes and redesigns/modifications to existing processes. CFW's clients include owners, contractors, and fabricators. In this role, you will work on a multidiscipline team of engineers and designers, serving as the lead civil / structural engineer. You will primarily work in an office setting, with periodic visits to project sites, which may take up to 15% of your time. Your responsibilities will include performing analysis and design of foundations and structures for industrial and chemical plant operations, where structural systems typically include concrete, steel, and masonry. You will also coordinate the work of team engineers and designers, direct staff in preparing design drawings, and communicate with clients. Additionally, you will develop project schedules using MSProject and make site visits to observe construction or document existing conditions.
