About the position
The position is for Class A drivers who will operate 100% no touch dry van freight primarily east of I-35, with limited routes into the Northeast. The role offers flexibility in driving style, allowing drivers to choose between a more relaxed or a harder running schedule, impacting their earnings. Drivers will typically be out for 10-14 days at a time, followed by 2 full days at home. The job includes the option for riders and pets from day one, and full benefits kick in after 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean driving record and report any incidents or violations promptly.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries and returns home.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license is required.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last three years.
- Clean driving record with no failed DOT drug or alcohol tests ever.
- Maximum of 3 moving violations in the last three years, with no more than one in the last 12 months.
- No reckless driving, following too closely, texting/talking while driving, or major traffic violations.
