About the position

The Senior Business Analyst at The Hanover will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating business needs and requirements. This role serves as a liaison between technology and business organizations, utilizing a strong understanding of information systems and business operations to develop integrated solutions. The position requires innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with business priorities and successful implementation of technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across business functions, understanding the relationship between business and supporting data and technology.
• Manage the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of multiple business and/or technical requirements.
• Facilitate planning sessions with multiple business partners to improve business processes or products.
• Establish relationships with business partners by demonstrating expert knowledge of business processes and technical systems.
• Work with business partners to define needs and assess impact on other business processes.
• Advise business partners on options, limitations, risks, and cost vs. benefits, ensuring a structured requirement process is adhered to.
• Accountable for a portion of a project plan in collaboration with project managers, from requirements phases through design, testing, implementation, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Typically requires seven to ten years of relevant technical and business work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of business operations, requirements processing, business modeling concepts, information systems, and project life-cycle knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
