Claim Service Specialist - Property - North Shore Preferred

About the position

We are looking for a candidate who has some work experience in Property. The right candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on skills/experience. Able to work in the North Shore area is preferred. Investigate and resolve first party Property claims which may involve coverage, liability, damage and legal issues. Effort may concentrate around intermediate exposure, Commercial Auto, Homeowner liability, and/or Commercial Property claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve first party Property claims
• Inspect damage and investigate all documentation
• Check claim case facts thoroughly
• Determine coverage, liability, and reserves
• Accurately report on each settlement
• Negotiate settlements with individuals, attorneys, and other insurance carriers
• Prepare and maintain well-written files
• Keep teams up-to-date on current claims

Requirements

• Some work experience in Property
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Commitment to customer service excellence
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Highly effective time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Impeccable organization skills
• Passion for helping others
