About the position
As a Claims Adjuster specializing in Attorney Represented Injury claims, you will play a critical role in managing bodily injury (BI) claims that involve legal representation. This position is available in various locations across California, including Riverside, Irvine, San Diego, Pasadena, Torrance, Thousand Oaks, Sherman Oaks, Fresno, Modesto, Sacramento, and Concord. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in claims handling, with the ability to independently manage an inventory of claims while assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages. You will work closely with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims, ensuring that all parties involved are satisfied with the resolution. This role is hybrid, requiring you to report to the office approximately four days per month for essential meetings, training, and collaboration with your team. However, if you prefer a more traditional in-office environment, you are welcome to work in the office more frequently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include determining coverage and liability for claims, negotiating settlements with claimants or their attorneys, and setting reserves for claims. You will also be responsible for estimating the costs of treatment or compensation for individuals injured in accidents, analyzing and interpreting medical reports, and managing the claims process to ensure efficient resolution. Additionally, you will conduct interviews and collect documentation from various stakeholders, including claimants, agents, brokers, attorneys, and police officers, to build a comprehensive understanding of each case.
Responsibilities

- Estimate costs of treatment or compensation for injured parties.
- Analyze and interpret medical reports related to claims.
- Follow up with no-fault parties to manage claims process.
- Interview and document information from claimants, agents, attorneys, and police.
Requirements
- Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
- OR Associate's degree and three years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
- OR Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling.
