Claims Adjuster - Centralized

About the position

As a centralized claims adjuster at Progressive, you will assist customers in resolving auto claims involving up to two vehicles. This remote position focuses on managing claims over the phone, documenting details accurately, interviewing involved parties, making coverage and liability decisions, and collaborating with peers to ensure consistency in accident reports. You will receive ongoing coaching and development to enhance your confidence in supporting customers during stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of claim files from beginning to end
• Resolve and document auto claims as quickly and accurately as possible
• Interview all involved in an accident to determine coverage and liability decisions
• Validate damage is consistent with the report of the accident
• Independently make decisions related to liability and coverages

Requirements

• A minimum of two years relevant work experience
• A minimum of two years post-secondary education
