About the position

As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will learn to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role is primarily conducted over the phone, allowing you to build relationships with customers while managing a full caseload of claims. You will receive comprehensive training on property damage and insurance contracts, enabling you to adjust claims confidently and independently. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work two days a week for the first 12 months, with flexibility thereafter based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage for claims
• Assess liability to identify fault for damages
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims

Requirements

• Three years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree
