About the position

As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will learn to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role is primarily phone-based, allowing you to build relationships with customers while managing a full caseload of claims. You will receive comprehensive training on property damage and insurance contracts, enabling you to adjust claims confidently and independently. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work two days a week, with flexibility for remote work on the other days.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage for claims
• Assess liability to identify fault for damages
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Collaborate with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims

Requirements

• Three years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree
