Claims Adjuster Trainee

About the position

As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will learn to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role is primarily office-based, focusing on building relationships with customers over the phone. You will manage a full caseload of claims, receiving comprehensive training on property damage and insurance contracts to confidently adjust claims. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility in your work location after an initial training period.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage for claims
• Assess liability to identify fault for damages
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims

Requirements

• Three years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree
