About the position

As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills necessary to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role is not field-based; instead, you will engage with customers primarily over the phone, fostering relationships and providing support in a fast-paced environment. Throughout your training, you will learn to manage a full caseload of claims efficiently, guiding each case from initiation to resolution. You will receive ongoing coaching from experienced leaders and collaborate with a supportive team, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed. The training will cover essential topics such as property damage assessment and understanding insurance contracts, enabling you to adjust claims with confidence and independence. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work in the office for two days a week, as determined by local leadership, while giving you the flexibility to choose your work location for the remaining three days, whether at home or in the office. After the initial 12-month period, the in-office requirements will vary based on business needs, but you will always have the option to work in the office as frequently as you prefer. In this role, you will be responsible for determining coverage and liability, interviewing customers, claimants, and witnesses, and partnering with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
