About the position
As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will learn to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role focuses on building relationships with customers over the phone rather than in the field. You will manage a full caseload of claims, receiving ongoing support and training from a collaborative team. The position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work, with a strong emphasis on professional development and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Determine coverage for claims
- Assess liability to identify fault for damages
- Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
- Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs
- Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims
Requirements
- Three years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree
