About The Position
The position involves processing claims, which includes evaluating policy for coverage and coordinating with the insured, outside adjusters, agents, and attorneys on the claim. The role also requires preparing reports such as loss runs and monthly bordereau. The essential duties include reviewing policies to determine coverage, settling claims within authority, and ensuring efficient handling of claims. The position requires attending mediations, overseeing vendors for accuracy in reporting, processing claims and vendor payments, maintaining loss funds, and preparing various reports. The role also involves approximately 25% travel for meetings with clients, mediations, and underwriters.
